What Is the Battleground Script?

Battleground Script is a full-featured combat system tailored for RedM Roleplay Servers. Whether it’s a sheriff-sponsored deathmatch or a gang-fueled war zone, this script gives your players the fight they’re itching for—without breaking immersion.

How Does It Work?

We’re thrilled to introduce version 1.1.0 of the Battleground System — bringing more control, rewards, and clarity to your combat events!


:scroll: What’s New?

  • Command-Based Battle End
    Now you can end the battle manually with a command if needed. Greater control during special events!

  • Post-Battle Rewards System
    A new configurable reward system has been added.
    You can now reward players at the end of the battle with:

    • Weapons
    • Items
    • Currency ($)
    • Gold
    • Role Money
  • Improved Scoreboard Clarity
    Players who don’t place in the top 10 will now see their overall ranking at the bottom of the scoreboard — no one is left in the dark!


Pogue Battleground - Version 1.2.0 Update

What’s New?

  • :star2: Configurable Inventory Wipe:

    • Added a new configuration option Config.WipeInventory.
    • When enabled, player inventories are cleared on event entry and exit.
    • When disabled, players keep their items and can join the event with their own weapons.
    • This gives you full flexibility on how you want the battleground to be played.
  • :sparkles: Teleportation Safety Improvements:

    • Major fixes to prevent players from falling through the map when teleported into the battleground.
    • Teleports are now much safer and reliable — the chance of death or falling has been reduced to nearly zero.
  • :alarm_clock: Countdown Notifications:

    • A new UI notification system now shows right-side countdown visuals.
    • At the start and end of events, players see a live second-by-second countdown, making the timing much clearer.
  • :tv: Battle Duration Timer UI:

    • A new vintage-style timer has been added to the top-left corner.
    • Displays the remaining event duration in minutes and seconds throughout the battle.
    • Gives players a constant reminder of how much time is left in the fight.
  • :scroll: Improved Scoreboard Behavior:

    • At the end of the event, the scoreboard is now locked — players can no longer close it manually.
    • The scoreboard will automatically disappear once the event fully ends.
    • For a closable scoreboard, players can still use the /score command during the event to open and close it freely.
  • :outbox_tray: Server Exports (Participants & Status):

    • New server-side exports for integrating with other resources:
      • GetBattleParticipants() → Returns a list of participant server IDs.
      • GetBattleParticipantsDetailed() → Returns { src, name } pairs.
      • IsPlayerInBattle(src) → Returns true/false.
      • IsBattleActive() → Returns true/false.
    • Makes it easy to build cross-resource logic (announcements, restrictions, rewards) based on battle state.

What’s Fixed?

  • :trophy: Scheduled Reward Distribution (Config.BattleScheduleEnabled)

    • Fixed an issue where scheduled battles didn’t grant rewards at the end.
    • Rewards now distribute correctly after score calculation and post-wipe sequence—consistent with manual starts.
  • :alarm_clock: Countdown Visibility

    • Fixed a bug where some players couldn’t see the start/end countdown UI.
    • The live second-by-second countdown now reliably appears for all participants.
